Frankfurt/Main – Rimon Falkenfort is strengthening its Frankfurt office with two new partners, Dr. Thomas Koch and Peter Bert, effective July 1.
Both newcomers have many years of professional experience and complement the existing practice groups.
Dr. Thomas Koch has more than fifteen years of professional experience and, after holding positions at Linklaters and Luther, was most recently head of the Cologne office of Andersen law firm. He mainly advises banks, financial service providers and fund managers on matters of banking supervisory and investment law and has extensive expertise in advising venture capital funds and supporting complex transactions in the field of venture capital financing.
"With Dr. Thomas Koch, we are broadening our regulatory expertise in Germany with a financial market specialist with access to venture capital funds and venture capitalists, who will further develop our networking with our US practice," says Prof. Dr. Bernd Geier.
With Peter Bert, lic.oec.int., we are strengthening our litigation practice with another experienced partner who regularly acts both as counsel and as arbitrator in national and international arbitration proceedings. Peter Bert was most recently a partner at Taylor Wessing for almost twenty years. He represents, among other things, pharmaceutical and medical technology companies in complex litigations. The focus is on contentious corporate law, cross-border proceedings and post-M&A disputes. Among other things, he is a member of the Legislative Committee on Civil Procedure Law of the German Bar Association.
"With Peter Bert and Stephan Kleemann, we have two high-profile litigation lawyers and are expanding our range of services to include arbitration, also for international clients," says Stephan Krampe.
